Move will triple size of HOM Furniture showroom
Growing up in Sioux City in the 1960s, HOM Furniture CEO Wayne Johansen recalled visiting his father’s downtown office in the Badgerow Building.
“I used to think, “That’s a very tall building,” Johansen says of the 12-story structure.
Just a couple blocks from the Badgerow, Johansen and his company now are preparing to open a new HOM showroom. The retail chain plans to take over the former Younkers department store, in the former Town Square at the northwest corner of Fourth and Pierce streets. Read more »
