my cat put just a few little holes in some leather furniture. Is there a spray or some kind of product that will help fix that? Thanks.

I have a matching antique dining set and I want to identify the style/period of the furniture. The back of the chairs is similar to Queen Anne however, the legs are turned and straight (plumb from the corner of the seat to the floor) not carved or cabriolet. There is a lot of detail in the turning (wide, narrow, beads above globe and urn shapes with concave cutouts running vertically to the leg). The top of the legs are square as is the point where the cross bracing attaches to the leg. Sorry I am not familiar with antique terminology. Can anyone identify this style (I can provide photos) or point me to an easy to use visual reference?

For example, I have recently purchased a dark maroon colored leather couch. Is there a safe, effective way for me to change the color of the leather to a dark brown?

I have been trying to learn about the leather used in furniture. I understand the differences in full grain and top grain. I go out and look at a sofa in a high end store and they describe their sofa’s as using full top grain. Are they playing games with terms? Is it full or is it top?

There is nothing wrong with my furniture except it feels cold and I am ready for a new look. I am thinking slip covers or doing a home reapholstry thing but concerned it will just slide off the leather. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on how to remove it? I don’t just want to cover it up for a day or two.

My wife and I bought two light leather couches from some friends and would like them to be a darker color. It was too good of a deal to pass up. However, we would like to know if you can you stain leather furniture yourself to make them a darker color?
