A 4-year-old South Side girl died Friday evening after being crushed by a piece of falling furniture, authorities said Saturday.
Marina Diaz, of 4829 S. Tripp Ave., was pronounced dead at 8:03 p.m. Friday at Mt. Sinai Hospital, according to a Cook County medical examiner’s office spokesman.
