Stanley expanded its Young America youth furniture brand

Stanley expanded its Young America youth furniture brand, made primarily in Lexington and Robbinsville, with a new 4 Seasons collection of more than 30 pieces in four distinctive, lightly distressed colors.

With classic Louis Philippe styling, the line is intended to be formal, though simple, but also functional.

Trundle/storage units that can be added to beds can serve interchangeably as beds themselves or as storage areas. A new Traditional Stationary Crib, made in China, contains no moving parts so parents won’t worry about safety. Mirrors tilt as a child grows. The collection continues Young America’s “Built to Grow” concept for beds and wall systems that can be modified, taking the child from crib to college.

For adults, Stanley launched Continuum, a transitional (not quite traditional, not quite contemporary) collection of about 60 pieces to be made primarily in Stanleytown, Va. Elements include perimeter framing, Chippendale fretwork, upholstered headboards, woven wood, marble, shagreen, metal and rain glass.
