Uganda: Money Gram Donates Furniture to I.U.IU

MONEY Gram, an international money transfer firm in conjunction with Stanbic Bank, has donated furniture to the Islamic University in Uganda [I.U.IU], Mbale campus worth $ 4500.

“Money gram is proud to support the Islamic University. We are aware that a part of the students’ community is made up of students from all over the country who need a fast, safe and reliable money transfer facility” said the press release.

Handing over the assortment of furniture to the university secretary, Mr Asuman Basalirwa, the university campus yesterday said “It is certainly an honour to receive Money gram’s donation to our campus. It is a unique donation in a much-needed area as our student community continues to grow”.

“Our commitment is to continue to provide this highly necessary linkage between them and their families back home,” said Mr Felix Oematum, branch manager Stanbic Bank Mbale, on behalf of Money Gram international.

Money Gram is an international person-to person money Transfer Company.

Mr Oematum called upon Ugandans to use Money gram more.
