Hospitality furniture expo set
Furniture makers and interior fit-out specialists from around the world will take part in an international hospitality furniture expo to be held in Bahrain next month.
The International Hospitality Furniture Expo (IHFEX) will be held at the Bahrain International Expo from September 3 to 5.
The event will be opened by Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr Hassan Fakhro.
The exhibition will target the fit-out of hotels, service apartments, commercial projects, cruise liners and other hospitality projects.
“The Singapore pavilion will combine trendsetting designs with fresh ideas, to provide visitors with a fruitful experience at IHFEX,” IHFEX director Tony Chan said.
“We are delighted to be able to feature winning entries from the recent International Furniture Fair Singapore/
ASEAN Furniture Show of some of Asia’s leading designers at the IHFEX.
“This will be the first time these winning designs will be showcased in the Middle East.”
“Apart from the Singapore delegation, furniture makers and interior fit out specialists from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE will also participate in the exhibition.
“Bahraini exhibitors include Creative Closets, who manufacture storage space for residential and commercial purposes and design consultants, OP Design WLL.”
IHFEX will open from 10am to 5pm on Monday and Tuesday and 10am to 3pm on Wednesday.
The show is organised by Singapore-based MP Congress & Exhibitions and International Furniture Fair Singapore. It is endorsed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and supported by the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority and the Singapore Furniture Industries Council.
