JOHOR BARU: A large-scale furniture fair will be held at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre here in September to promote the ability and products of furniture manufacturers in the state.

“We want the people to know that we, too, are able to make high quality furniture,” Johor Baru Furniture Industry Council (JBFIC) president Tan Kian Lee said.

He said some 30,000 visitors would be expected at the four-day Johor Furniture Fair, beginning Sept 10.

“We are targeting foreign buyers, especially Singaporeans and Indonesians,” Tan told a press conference at the council office here Monday.
