Thanh Dung Furniture Corporation, a leading wood processor in HCMC, on Saturday opened a home furniture supermarket at 384-386 No Trang Long Street in Binh Thanh District.

Pham Thi Phuong Lien, deputy director of Thanh Dung Co., said her company had spent more than VND40 billion to open the supermarket, which displayed a wide range of items including beds, armchairs, wardrobes, and tables made from different types of wood.

At the ceremony, Lien said the company focused on the city’s market and neighboring provinces.

Thanh Dung currently operates one factory in Binh Duong and two retail outlets in HCMC, one in Binh Thanh District and the other in District 12.

* In related news, Hoang Phuc Anh Co., a distributor of sanitary equipments, opened a showroom at 170K No Trang Long Street in Binh Thanh District yesterday, introducing E Spring electronics intelligent toilet seats.

Vu Hoang Bac, director of Hoang Phuc Anh, said that these products were imported from Taiwan’s Y Sheng Co.

The company also will bring out children cartoon toilet seats and toilet for handicapped in the near future.
