U.S. office furniture orders up 7 pct-trade group

U.S. office furniture orders posted another high single-digit gain in October, which analysts described as a further sign the market is moderating.
Orders were up 7 percent over October 2005 to $950 million, the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) said.

Martinsburg furniture store sued again

A month after the Martinsburg Schewel Furniture store was sued for overloading a truck, a Williamsport, Md., woman says she was hit in the head by a falling glass picture frame there.
Ruth Zepp filed a lawsuit Nov. 16 in Berkeley Circuit Court against Schewel Furniture Co.
