Donations of gently used furniture are being taken from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Hallstrom Center at 1300 17th St. for families who lost property during the Labor Day flood.

Items needed for donation include gently used living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, children’s furniture, washers, dryers and televisions in working condition.

Those who have suffered loss from the flood may come to shop at no cost from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hallstrom Center.

Individuals must bring photo identification and proof of address to receive furniture.
