Furniture Row ® Shopping Center Opens In Dacono with Three Weeks of Special Events, Celebrity Appearances
June 29th, 2006 Category Events, FurnitureFurniture Row® Companies will once again expand its presence in Colorado with the opening of a new 85,000 square foot Furniture Row® Shopping Center located in Dacono. The new Center, located at 3440 East I-25 Frontage Road just south of the Colorado National Speedway at exit 232, will host a variety of events during its grand opening celebration. Activities include celebrity meet-and-greets, dynamic contests, and promotional giveaways beginning Friday, July 14, through Tuesday, August 1. The grand opening celebration will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new location on Friday, June 30, at 9:00 a.m.
The Furniture Row® Shopping Center at Dacono includes the store brands Oak Express®, Bedroom Expressions®, Denver Mattress Company®, and Sofa Mart® at one convenient location. The Center was built to accommodate the housing boom in the towns of Dacono, Erie, Firestone, Fredrick and Mead. The area, commonly known as Carbon Valley, is anticipated to expand to over 200,000 residents according to development plans in the next 15 to 20 years.

Colorado’s hometown NASCAR Busch Series driver for Furniture Row® Racing #78, Jerry Robertson, will be on hand to sign autographs from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Jerry will be accompanied by his son, Darren Robertson, driver for the local Furniture Row® Racing Chevy Monte Carlo at Colorado National Speedway. Darren will also be on hand to sign autographs from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Jerry Robertson has been racing for more than 24 years in a variety of NASCAR sanctioned series across the U.S. He made his first NASCAR Busch Series appearance in 1997 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In 2005, Robertson returned to the Busch Series in the Furniture Row® #78 Chevy Monte Carlo, backed by veteran crew chief Joe Garone and the Furniture Row® Racing program. Robertson is currently racing in the Busch Series for Furniture Row®.
Radio station KWLI-FM Willie 92.5 Country will broadcast live from the Dacono Center from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The station will be giving away tickets to Colorado National Speedway. Station mascot cowboy “Poke” will meet and greet customers.
