Some leading companies of the Pesaro-based furniture industry are testing a new IT system to link producers, subproducers, movers and logistic operators through the same language. The platform was devised by the Marches Regional Council and developed by SVIM and Cosmob. The IT language used is so innovative it can go international, and so flexible it can be used by small enterprises too. It’s called “Mobile in rete” and should be able to guarantee significant saving, in terms of human and economic resources. A similar initiative was started in the Fermano shoe-making district, still in the Marches.
