An upscale San Francisco furniture and home accessories retailer is opening a sales studio in Milwaukee’s 3rd Ward.

Design Within Reach, a 10-year-old national company, will lease 5,800 square feet on the ground floor at 173 N. Broadway.

Design Within Reach specializes in chairs, tables, outdoor furniture, lighting and other home and office accessories.

The retailer is among a growing number of home furnishing, apparel and accessories stores locating in the 3rd Ward, said Einar Tangen, president of the Historic Third Ward Association.
