OKTAFUR manufactures solid wood furniture which is made of grade A teak and mahogany wood. Jepara (in Central Java, Indonesia)
OKTAFUR use s the wood that comes from Perum Perhutani, the Indonesian Government body in charge of wood sale. Every teak tree in the plantation is required 80 years of age before eligible to be cut off. The teak tree has to pass 2 drainage processes before being distributed to our production units. First it is drained naturally for a 2 (two) year period before being cut off by Perum Perhutani and secondly dry kilned in the oven until the moisture content reaches 12-14%. Only the best available quality kiln-dried plantation wood is used in production.
